Anna Hunsinger, RVTAnna is a veterinary assistant at Crossroads Veterinary Hospital, bringing fresh knowledge and enthusiasm from her recent graduation from a veterinary technician program in Canada. She is working toward becoming a registered veterinary technician by late 2025. While still exploring her specific areas of focus, Anna has a strong passion for client education—a skill she honed as a tour guide at a wolf sanctuary. She enjoys assisting in surgery for its dynamic nature and complexity, as well as capturing diagnostic imaging, especially x-rays, which she found particularly engaging during her studies. Above all, Anna is dedicated to easing patients’ fear and anxiety while providing compassionate care, and she values the opportunity to educate pet owners and help them make informed decisions about their pets’ health.

Jane Homann, RVTJane has always had a deep love for animals, but her path into veterinary care truly took shape during her senior year of high school when she took a college course in Animal Anatomy and Physiology at FRCC—an experience that inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary technology. At the hospital, she enjoys being versatile and jumping in wherever she’s needed, bringing flexibility and teamwork to every shift. One of the things she values most about working here is the genuine care and support teammates show one another, which she believes is the key to a smooth, efficient, and positive work environment. Outside of work, Jane is kept company by her 15/16-year-old three-legged cat, Crash, plays softball, and has been pet-sitting since she was 17. Fun facts: she has a twin sister and a healthy fear of the water.
